Conductor Emeritus Tours The Central Coast

CCCGRS Conductor Emeritus, Elden Paling recently returned to the central coast for his annual visit. Many involved in garden railroading will remember Elden, a former Atascadero resident, as a long time influence on large-scale and garden railroading in this region. Elden frequently hosted train runs on his well-planned and reliable layout for both long-time CCCGRS members, as well as those newly interested in the hobby. Elden always made everyone feel welcome both at his layout, and at CCCGRS events. Now residing in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area, Elden remains actively involved in the hobby. While on the central coast, Elden attended the CCCGRS monthly luncheon and also took the time to visit Jim and Barbara Davis’ and Mark and Michelle Edwards’ garden railroads.
