2023 National Garden Railway Convention

The 38th annual National Garden Railway Convention was hosted in the San Francisco Bay Area by our colleagues with the Bay Area Garden Railway Society with significant contributions by the Redwood Empire Garden Railway Society and Central California Coast Garden Railroad Society. All total, the event ran over 10 days highlighting some of the finest garden railroads on the west coast between Santa Rosa and Santa Maria, California.

National conventions are a great way to experience the different facets of the hobby through layout tours, informative clinics, extensive vendor displays and the comradery that is cultivated among the friendly people that share this enjoyable experience.
