Interested in making your own details, custom figures, and personalized features that make your railroad unique? Have you wanted to learn more about using polymer clay to make arts and craft items, as well as strong decorative parts?

Join us for an exclusive class on modeling with polymer clay at Art Central ( in San Luis Obispo on Saturday, 25-Jan-2020 from 10:30 AM -12:30 PM. Participants will receive one-on-one instruction on types of polymer clay, working with the material, blending colors, common tools, the hardening process and more. Registration is only $10 per student, which includes polymer clay to create the take-home class project, personalized instruction, as well as access to tools and ovens to finish your creation.

Polymer clay is a readily available, plastic modeling material that hardens when baked 10-15 minutes in a conventional kitchen oven. Projects using polymer clay have been featured in Garden Railways and other model railroading publications.

Enrollment is restricted to 20 students. Current CCCGRS members will be offered priority enrollment for this limited event. Respond to on or before Friday, 01-Nov-2019 to reserve your seat for this fun and instructional class.
