Karl and Stephanie Hovanitz have invited CCCGRS members and their train enthusiast guests to the Bitter Creek Western Railroad for a Sunday picnic. The Bitter Creek Western Railroad is a privately owned 7.5-inch gauge railroad operated for the benefit of children of all ages who enjoy playing trains. Each group is asked to bring their own picnic lunch to enjoy. Please RSVP with the number of people in your group to contact@cccgrs.org on or before 14 July 2021. Why RSVP? Because Karl needs to know how many trains to prepare for our group to ride!

DESCRIPTION:The Crown & Summit garden railroad features two separate loops of track totaling approximately 600 feet in an elevated 20 foot x 30 foot tree-shaded setting. The inner loop is narrow gauge with an Old West theme. The outer loop is standard gauge reflecting the 1940s and ’50s. Trains operate on both track and battery power. Jim Davis has been an active member of the Central California Coast Garden Railroad Society since 2001.
