DESCRIPTION:Children can appreciate the M&SRR while they happily play with livestock and tractors in our farm diorama and with clowns and attractions in our circus diorama. (They will not be allowed to play in our planned toxic derailment diorama.) Adults can enjoy our Airwire-controlled locomotives from walkways or from our patio\, as the trains circulate on 300 ft. of track\, consisting of a mainline\, a yard\, a loop\, a wye\, and an agricultural siding. Listen for our Western-Cullen-Hayes No. 333 Crossing Bell! Watch the M&SRR High Flyer! Note: Our recently landscaped yard features decomposed granite paths. SUMMARY:M&M on Main Street
DESCRIPTION:Mel and Marilyn Wammack will host their first train run for the Central California Coast Garden Railroad Society at the M & M on Main Street Railroad. This coastal garden railroad has been featured during both the 2023 Post-National Garden Railroad Convention and Central California Coast Railroad Festival Tours. \nThe M & M on Main Street Railroad consists of a large irregular shaped oval with approximately 225 ft. of track divided into a single main with three by-pass tracks. Minimum and maximum radius of the curves are 2 ½ ft. and 3 ft.\, respectively.  Several scratch-built structures\, including houses\, movie theater and retail shops have been added to honor their 14 grandchildren\, 4 children and their spouses. Each engine is battery powered and radio controlled. To accommodate the various elevation of the yard\, there are two\, not yet complete\, (but functional)\, trestle loops\, and a ten-foot bridge.

SUMMARY:A & M Railroad Open Day
DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with the 2023 Central Coast Railroad Festival\, the A & M Railroad will host an open day for enjoyment of the general public. \nThe A & M Railroad consists of two separate large-scale layouts. The original layout has been reconfigured into an 80-ft. oval featured in the center of the garden. In 2021\, following 16 months of construction\, the new 193-ft. triple main line was completed. This impressive layout is raised 30 inches from ground level for ease of operation and viewing. All three lines cross an arch top drawbridge allowing operators to access the center of the layout. Kit and kit-bashed structures\, details and figures are distributed throughout creating unique scenes to delight visitors.

SUMMARY:M & M On Main Street Railroad Open Day
DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with the 2023 Central Coast Railroad Festival\, the M & M On Main Street Railroad will host an open day for enjoyment of the general public. \nThe M & M on Main Street Railroad consists of a large irregular shaped oval with approximately 225 ft. of track divided into a single main with three by-pass tracks. Minimum and maximum radius of the curves are 2 ½ ft. and 3 ft.\, respectively.  Several scratch-built structures\, including houses\, movie theater and retail shops have been added to honor their 14 grandchildren\, 4 children and their spouses. Each engine is battery powered and radio controlled. To accommodate the various elevation of the yard\, there are two\, not yet complete\, (but functional)\, trestle loops\, and a ten-foot bridge.

DESCRIPTION:The Central Coast Railroad Festival (CCRRF) is a broad based festival which focuses on railroading of many types with an eye towards the beauty of the central coast of California. \nThe Festival is designed to attract the attention of avid and casual rail fans as well as curious folks from across the Western United States. It presents historical\, educational and recreational events for local citizens\, the area’s large population of second homeowners and visitors. The visibility of all local rail entities as well as railroading in general is elevated and enhanced by the Festival. The A & M Railroad is designed for easy set-up and operations with three separate loops of track\, each with multiple passing sidings accommodated all the visiting trains. For this Train Run event\, guests are encouraged to bring their live steam and battery powered large scale trains to operate.

SUMMARY:98. Halter Ranch Railroad – Adelaida Pacific Vineyard Route
DESCRIPTION:It was a lifelong dream of owner Hansjorg Wyss to ride on the trains in Switzerland where he grew up\, but as a child his family could not afford it. But now he is making that dream a reality for guests visiting Halter Ranch Vineyard and Winery. The rolling stock roster currently includes 3 locomotives\, 8 passenger cars\, 1 caboose\, 2 flat cars and a ballast car. Currently the route covers 3.25 miles of 15-inch gauge track\, that is strategically placed to highlight the beauty of the estate. Trains transport guests past many highlights on the property\, including pilot cottages\, for those who fly into the winery and stay the night\, multiple ponds\, some that feature a catch and release fishing\, olive groves\, vineyards\, you travel across a Swiss inspired covered bridge and through train tunnels. We welcome convention delegates to experience this one-of-a-kind estate on the Central California Coast. \nGuests visiting the railroad are requested to arrive at the Halter Ranch Winery tasting room. Inform one of the wine hosts you are here to visit the railroad as part of the convention. The wine host will provide you with a detailed map directing you to the train map and associated parking.

SUMMARY:114. Carolwood Bitter Creek Southern
DESCRIPTION:The Carolwood Bitter Creek Southern Railroad is a free-lance layout under construction with approximately 50 ft of LGB track completed. The outer loop is a dog bone and inner loop a circle for a trolley or speeder. This  elevated railroad will be extended 200 feet along the 3-foot-high retaining wall. Many structures were salvaged from a “fallen” railroad and will need some paint and re-shingling. Some of the structures give it the “Old West” motif. The railroad is currently track-powered but will also have AirWire controlled battery power later. All turnouts are hand throw. Part 2 expansion is a scaled copy of the Walt Disney Barn to add a suspended oval of track(s) around the ceiling.  “Disney” Barn will be open to see work in progress.
