CCCGRS Members prepared and operated a large scale layout for the enjoyment of visitors at the San Luis Obispo Railroad Museum during the 2023 Central Coast Railroad Festival (J. Soto, image).We are very grateful to Bob Cochran for restoring a Bachmann 4-6-0 customized with CCCGRS lettering and logos to run at public displays (R. Cochran, image).We encourage hands-on operation of our large scale trains at public events. Afterall, that’s how we all introduced to the hobby (J. Soto, image).Central Coast Railroad Festival participants were introduced to all the diversity within the garden railroad hobby, including live steam operations at the Orcutt & Islay Creek Railroad (M.
