The Central California Coast Garden Railroad Society and Bitter Creek Western Railroad have a long shared history with many of our members involved with both groups. This shared fondness and admiration for all things railroad brought us together for a memorable summer afternoon. BCWRR kindly operated several “garden” trains for everyone to enjoy. Friends and families shared in fun, food and fellowship. We are very fortunate to have had this experience and express our sincere gratitude to everyone that made the day a success.
The Bitter Creek Western Railroad operated three trains for CCCGRS members to enjoy throughout the day. Other locomotives were on display in the roundhouse (Mark Edwards, image). The Bitter Creek Western Railroad’s picnic area is perfectly designed for everyone to eat, drink and share in the wonders of the ride-on railroad equipment (Mark Edwards, image).
