Rileyville Railroad 2.0 – October Update

Track has been initially laid to visualize how the new track plan works in the existing space. A final grade will be created once Jim and Donna are satisfied with the design. Construction of the two elevated sections and the bridge may slow the pace of construction (Jim Williams, image).
The original Rileyville Railroad was one dogbone occupying a space approximately 40′ long by 10′ at the widest. The new layout will be roughly 50′ long by 20′ at widest with two interconnecting dogbones. There is a 12″ to 16″ rise over a portion of layout (Jim Williams, image).
